1. Personal Narrative

In Personal Narrative, learn how to find memorable and transformational moments in your life and organize them into compelling speeches. Personal narratives help build students’ confidence and generate exposure to public speaking environments. Students will leave the course with valuable stories for personal statements and school interviews.

2. Creative Story Telling

In Creative Storytelling, learn how to create fascinating yet believable characters and share them in a clear and well-structured narrative arc. Storytelling allows students to channel their creative energy by introducing narrative structure. Students will leave the course with a deep understanding of the creative process, from brainstorming to
performance.

3. Informative Speech

In Informative Speech, learn how to research, filter, compile, and present interesting facts and figures in a formal presentation. Speakers use informative speech to relay information during school projects, and students will leave the course with the ability to investigate and educate an audience on a selected topic.

4. Persuasive Speech

In Persuasive Speech, learn the fundamentals of persuading an audience to change their way of thinking or acting towards a prominent social issue. Perhaps the most common speaking style, students will leave the course with two thought-provoking and well- researched speeches on topical issues

5. Dramatic MonoIogue

Dramatic Monologue, learn the fundamentals of performing a character in a dramatic context using voice, body language, and facial expression. Projecting confidence and charisma on stage is a fundamental skill to master as a public speaker. Students will leave this class with a profound understanding of how truthful characterization through vocalization and body language improves their delivery in any situation.

6. Unscripted Speech

In Unscripted Speech, learn how to deliver well-structured and impactful speeches with limited preparation. Being able to speak off-the-cuff is undoubtedly one of our most-requested areas of instruction! Students will leave the course with the ability to deliver impactful and memorable speeches with little to no preparation.
