Debate Journey: A Global Odyssey
Embarking on an extraordinary journey, Sreyan played a pivotal role in history as a part of the first Bangladeshi National Debate team at the 2018 World Schools Debating Championship to qualify for the out-rounds of the championships. Their indomitable spirit catapulted the team to the global stage, securing a remarkable 7th place and earning distinction as the 9th best ESL speaker.

The legacy continued with Sreyan consistently steering his team to the top ranks at the World Universities Debating Championships as a debater. Qualifying/Breaking as one of the top teams in the world in 3 consecutive occasions He also attained recognition as one of the premier adjudicators at the 2024 event. A recipient of the E. Rigney Debate Scholarship, a $25,000 merit award, Sreyan pursued undergraduate studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, serving as both Vice President and President of the Debate Team.

Transitioning seamlessly from the competitive arena to the coaching realm, Sreyan brought their wealth of experience to European Standard School as their Head Coach and served as an Interim Debate Coach at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
