He wants to bring his knowledge of rhetoric to students that are learning Public Forum and World Schools Debate and those eager to compete at a higher level. “

“Diggory Waddle is an educator, and academic from Vancouver Canada. He competed as one of the top debaters in the country at Queens University while studying Philosophy. He had worked as a coach for 5 years, and helped students who never had any formal training in the activity to debate.

He won several prestigious tournaments, including 2023 Canadian Nationals, 2024 Canadian Nationals 2023 Princeton IV, 2022 US Nationals and 2023 US Nationals. He has been chief adjudicator in dozens of tournaments across Canada and has judged the elimination rounds at Princeton and US Nationals.

Diggory highly values being a coach that encourages students to overcome their limitationsand grow into the best version of themselves they can be. He values students enjoying classand developing a passion for learning. Diggory has helped countless students to go from novices to debaters, who regularly break at tournaments themselves, and loves to share his passion for debating with anyone who will listen. He has coached students to compete at the Tournament of Champions and win Harvard Public Forum.”
